Sometimes it can be challenging to start meaningful conversations with people.
It’s a busy world, especially now in these current times we’re inundated with email communication and so it can be hard to break through the noise barrier.

I want to give you a couple of ways to break through that noise barrier and make it easy for you to make an approach to another company and get in touch with the right people.

#1 Lead with content
People will talk to people that have got fantastic content to share. So whether you have a white paper a blog article that you’ve written, sending that to people will help you to start approaching and making a connection.

#2 Build Your Industry Cred
Another great way is if you’ve established some industry authority you have appeared on podcasts you run a podcast, perhaps an interview that you’ve had, and you can share that with people.

#3 Social Proof And Testimonials
If you have specific proof, perhaps some customer testimonials or customer results that you’ve achieved. Oftentimes, these can lead to better, easier conversations with people.

#4 Be Relevant In The Moment
The last one is around relevance, and so it’s being relevant to the current times. So, depending on the situation it could be a political reason, some kind of news or an industry situation that is happening and provides you with the relevance to reach out and approach.

Next time you stuck on an approach, think about the four key areas in which you can make it much, much easier for yourself.
